History & Philosophy

I am the son of a pastor raised in a loving two-parent home with a younger sister.

At an early age I recognized gifts of athleticism, design, leadership and teaching. Disciplining these gifts over time awarded me experiences that allowed for enriched learning  and professional growth opportunities.

I have always been a leader. A leader of people, ideas and systems with an aptitude towards helping people achieve their personal and group goals. I have served in various industries ranging from education, corporate, software, non-profit and independent business. My breadth of experience resolves around executive leadership skills, personal development, project management & creative solutions. The variety of my experience has set me on a unique path to lead the next generation of leaders and world changers.

In high school, I was a track & field and cross country athlete. My running ability awarded me athletic scholarships in both sports. While in college (Azusa Pacific University), I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design in 1996 and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology in 1999.

After graduating from college, I became a secondary education teacher; educating students in the field of graphic design, computer-aided drafting & computer networking. I continued my involvement in athletics serving as head coach for cross country, basketball, and track. My love and passion for athletics continues today. I feel fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to coach and train each my children in their athletic endeavors.

I have been married for 20 years and have 3 amazing children. Two in college and one in high school. I know from first-hand experience the challenges and victories that come with marriage and raising a boy and two girls. I also know that marriage is a blessing and can be difficult at times. More importantly, I know that God is good and loves you like He loves me.

I account my leadership, career & entrepreneurial success to a number of factors. First and foremost, my relationship with Jesus Christ is the center of everything. Secondly, the love, sacrifice and support from my amazing wife and children. Lastly, the support of mentors, friends and God-ordained provisional moments is precious beyond words.

My life philosophy is letting your life speak. I believe each man should live their life in a way that serves to teach and be teachable moments for others. Letting your life speak is about transparency. Transparency that will help you educate and reach the world through your life’s experiences. To not teach your sons, daughters, spouse and the people in your circle of influence is a disservice to your family and community. We need men and women who are willing to let their life speak.

Today, I serve as a personal brand coach, life coach, speaker, preacher, author, mentor and designer. I have also built online programs to help men identify and build their own unique personal brand. I wanted to build a resource to help men develop into men of purpose, passion & integrity. My calling is to men and families. It’s a great calling. One that I am thankful for every day.
